Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to join the team in Lakeland, Florida. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully managing large-scale construction projects, particularly in the water and wastewater treatment sector. This role requires a strong leader who can oversee all aspects of project execution, ensuring timely completion, adherence to budget, and compliance with safety standards.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of construction sites for water treatment plants, wastewater treatment plants, pump stations, and lift stations.
- Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, suppliers, and on-site personnel.
- Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures.
- Conduct regular site inspections and progress meetings.
- Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during construction.
- Maintain accurate project documentation and reports.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in construction management, with a focus on $30 million projects.
- Extensive knowledge of water and wastewater treatment plant construction.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in construction management software and tools.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
