Smart Mobility Region Lead
Our client, an employee-owned consulting firm with a strong presence across Idaho and Spokane, is seeking a dynamic leader to spearhead their Traffic Engineering and Smart Mobility initiatives. This is an exciting opportunity to drive innovation and sustainable mobility while fostering strong local connections.
Ideal candidates will hold a Washington or Idaho Professional Engineer (PE) license or an AICP certification for planners, paired with 10+ years of professional experience in engineering or planning, including at least 3 years in project management. A proven track record in delivering public agency and DOT projects, combined with strong business development skills, is essential to driving growth and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage Traffic Engineering and Smart Mobility projects from initiation through completion.
Provide technical expertise in traffic design, transportation planning, and mobility solutions.
Build and maintain relationships with public agencies, DOT partners, and local stakeholders.
Oversee project management tasks, including budgeting, resource allocation, and deliverable oversight.
Mentor and support team members, promoting professional growth and collaboration.
Communicate complex technical concepts clearly and effectively to diverse audiences.
Represent clients in public meetings and project discussions.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Urban and Regional Planning.
PE license (Washington or Idaho) or AICP certification for planners.
10+ years of professional experience, including 3+ years in project management.
Proven success in delivering public agency and DOT projects.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in traffic safety analysis, signalization, and Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS).
