We are looking for an early-career engineer to join a project team. This role involves hands-on work with various systems and facilities supporting significant projects. Responsibilities:
- Support the design, specification, and analysis of various electrical systems.
- Assist in project execution from initial planning to construction and commissioning.
- Perform calculations, select materials, and assess electrical integrity.
- Collaborate with project managers, field personnel, and vendors to ensure accuracy and safety.
- Participate in inspections, failure analysis, and reliability improvements.
- Prepare engineering documents such as datasheets, reports, and drawing reviews.
- Follow procedures and conduct analyses to develop design options.
- May work non-traditional hours as needed.
Requirements:
- Recent graduates or those graduating by summer 2025 are welcome to apply.
- Must live in Denver, or commutable distance from Denver, CO.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution
- 0-5 years of electrical engineering experience (internships in oil & gas are a plus)
- Self-directed with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Interest in the industry through academic projects, extracurricular activities, or internships.
- Experience in the sector or heavy industry, including co-op and internship experience, is a plus but not required.
- Willingness to travel regularly to various locations.
- Must posses a valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record
Competencies:
- Understanding of fundamental engineering principles.
- Familiarity with NEC/NFPA 70E standards.
- Works under direct supervision but shows initiative and progresses towards requiring less oversight.
- Capable of performing all essential and secondary job functions.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a team, follow management directions, adhere to work schedules, pay attention to details, and comply with work rules.
- Competence in managing multiple tasks with strict deadlines.
- Skill in organizing and prioritizing daily tasks.
- Job level will be determined based on the candidate's qualifications, experience, and skill sets.
