Job Description:
- Management of Domestic and International Engineers: Oversee and manage engineers in the Civil Engineering Department.
- Civil Engineering Tasks in Renewable Energy Projects: Engage in civil engineering activities for renewable energy projects both domestically and internationally. Tasks include creating basic project plans, drafting specifications, selecting partner companies, reviewing estimates/designs/construction plans, and project management.
- New Project Development: Conduct literature and field surveys to develop new renewable energy projects.
- Evaluation and Selection of Design and Procurement Partners: Investigate and select new partner companies and technologies for design and procurement.
Position Highlights:

Required Skills and Experience (Must):
- Mission Alignment: Strong commitment to employer's mission and management philosophy.
- Communication Skills: Ability to proactively involve internal departments and external partners to execute tasks.
- Negotiation and Planning Skills: Possess negotiation, coordination, planning, proposal, and problem-solving skills.
- Engineering Experience: 10 years of experience in multiple phases of design/procurement/construction.
- Management Experience: 3 years of experience in management (scale of management is not a concern).
- Qualifications: Certified Japanese construction management engineer or technical engineer.
Preferred Skills and Experience (Want):
- Project Management: Qualified or experienced in project management.
- International Experience: Experience in international business.
- Technical Background: Specialized background in civil, electrical, or mechanical engineering.
- Site Management Experience: Experience as a site manager.
- Language Skills: Fluency in both Japanese and English, able to hold conversation in business settings.
Remote Work:
- 1-2 days per week (recommended to work in the office 3 days per week
Holidays and Leave:
- Complete Two-Day Weekend: Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays.
- Annual Holidays: 124 days (2024)
- Maternity and Parental Leave: Available
- Other Leave: Year-end and New Year holidays, life support leave (5 days per year), condolence leave, paid leave, etc.
