Aviation Project Manager
Aviation Engineer
Salary Range: $130,000
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering
- Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in airport consulting/engineering
- Professional Engineer License preferred
- Strong understanding of FAA advisory circulars related to airport design and the FAA grant process
- Excellent communication skills
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Self-motivated and team-oriented, capable of handling challenging projects collaboratively
- Willingness to travel
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design for airfield civil construction projects, collaborating with EITs and other team members
- Mentor EITs in grading design, pavement design, marking design, airport operational construction safety, phasing plans, and other airport design aspects
- Coordinate with owners, internal staff, and sub consultants throughout the project life cycle
- Present design concepts, alternatives, and solutions during client review meetings
- Lead the design process during bidding
- Participate in construction inspection and oversight, either as lead inspector or technical support
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of desk work and computer use
- Occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
- Valid driver's license and ability to safely operate a vehicle
