Salary: $80,000 - $160,000

Position Overview:
Our client is seeking a Water Resources Engineer to join their team in Baltimore. The ideal candidate will have 3-8 years of experience in water resources engineering with a focus on stormwater management, erosion and sediment control, and drainage design, specifically for transportation projects. The candidate should be a strong communicator and collaborator, with the ability to manage complex tasks and work well within a team environment.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Stormwater Management and Erosion & Sediment Control Design for transportation projects

  • Drainage design and analysis

  • Site design and utility coordination

  • Coordination and procurement of state and local permits

  • Client interaction, project coordination, and management of timelines and deliverables

  • Preparation of design plans, specifications, and engineering reports

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (or related field)

  • 3-8 years of relevant experience in water resources engineering, with a focus on transportation projects

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and standard engineering software

  • Knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations related to stormwater management and erosion control
