Shape the Future of Renewable Energy - and Help Build What Lasts

Our client is a top-tier renewable energy platform with a national footprint and a long-term ownership mindset. With more than 11 GW of contracted capacity and an active portfolio spanning over 20 states, they are quietly-but powerfully-shaping the clean energy transition.

As they continue to scale responsibly, they are seeking a Senior Manager, Project Delivery to lead the execution of utility-scale renewable energy projects-from late-stage development through financing, construction, and commercial operation.

This is an ideal opportunity for a seasoned energy leader who thrives in complex, cross-functional environments and is looking to have a tangible impact on the energy infrastructure that will serve communities for decades.

Why This Role Stands Out

  • End-to-End Ownership: Unlike transactional developers, this platform owns and operates its projects for the long term. That means greater alignment, less churn, and deeper investment in project quality and stakeholder relationships.

  • Disciplined Growth at Scale: With gigawatts of capacity already secured and a robust pipeline, the company is expanding strategically-not at breakneck pace, but with intention and staying power.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: You'll work closely with teams across development, legal, engineering, finance, and construction to bring complex projects to life. Your insights and leadership will influence not just project execution-but how the platform evolves.

What You'll Do

  • Oversee utility-scale renewable energy projects (solar, wind, and storage) from mid/late-stage development through commercial operation

  • Coordinate project financing and execution, aligning internal teams and external partners

  • Manage critical contracts and commercial interfaces, including EPC, interconnection, supply, and O&M agreements

  • Resolve cross-disciplinary challenges-technical, legal, and financial-with a steady hand and strategic mindset

  • Guide external consultants and stakeholders, including engineering firms, utilities, landowners, permitting bodies, and construction teams

  • Ensure milestone achievement, risk management, and project integrity across the portfolio

What You Bring

  • 7-15+ years of experience in renewable energy project delivery, development, or construction

  • A proven track record managing large-scale utility projects through financing and execution

  • Strong familiarity with project finance structures, grid interconnection, and permitting landscapes

  • Experience navigating major project agreements (PPA, GIA, EPC, supply contracts)

  • Executive-level communication and leadership skills-comfortable managing internal alignment and external relationships

  • A technical degree (engineering or related) is preferred; an MBA or advanced degree is a plus

  • A deep belief in renewable energy's role in building a better future-and the curiosity and drive to lead it well

Compensation & Benefits

  • Competitive base salary: $160,000 - $210,000

  • Guaranteed first-year bonus

  • Comprehensive benefits: medical, dental, 401(k) with match, wellness reimbursement, family-building support, charitable giving match, and more
