Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and motivated Project Engineer specializing in Land Development to join our dynamic team in Phoenix, Arizona. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering and a proven track record in managing land development projects. This role involves designing, planning, and overseeing the execution of various land development projects, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and zoning laws.
Responsibilities:
- Design and execute site plans for land development projects, including residential, commercial, and industrial developments.
- Collaborate with architects, developers, and project managers to understand project requirements and develop comprehensive plans.
- Prepare and present technical reports, feasibility studies, and project proposals to clients and stakeholders.
- Conduct site inspections and ensure projects adhere to legal guidelines and industry standards.
- Utilize computer-aided design (CAD) software and other tools to create detailed plans and blueprints.
- Obtain necessary permits and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Assess environmental impact and implement strategies to mitigate potential issues.
- Coordinate with contractors and construction teams to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Address issues or changes in plans as they arise during construction.
- Provide technical support and guidance to engineering interns and technical staff.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in engineering design and/or project management, with a focus on land development.
- Proficiency in CAD software, Civil 3D, and Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Project).
- Strong understanding of environmental regulations, zoning laws, and construction methods.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
