About the Position
We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Industrial Piping Estimator to join our General Contractor team specializing in large-scale industrial projects. Based in the vibrant city of Raleigh, NC, this position offers a unique opportunity to leverage your expertise in industrial piping and contribute significantly to our ongoing projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for industrial piping projects.
- Analyze blueprints and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates.
- Assess cost effectiveness of products, projects or services, tracking actual costs relative to bids as the project develops.
Required Skills:
- Estimating: Proven ability to produce accurate industrial project estimates.
- Mechanical Engineering: In-depth knowledge of mechanical systems involved in industrial piping as well as a background in mechanical and HVAC contracting.
- Construction Knowledge: Familiarity with construction processes and methodologies specific to industrial settings.
Location:
The office is based in Raleigh, North Carolina, USA, and the company covers projects areas across North Carolina.
Type:
This opportunity would be a Permanent position and the company offers a hybrid position, with some days in office and the opportunity to work from home on some days too.
