Traffic Engineer
A client of mine is looking to bring on a talented Traffic Engineer to their team. This firm is considered a National firm and widely recognized and respected for their large projects, and long tenure of their employees. They are considered one of the "Best Firms to Work For" and have broken countless records as a top performing Civil Engineering firm. They have decided to expand their team in the Chicago office.
Responsibilities:
- Perform and coordinate the planning and permitting of traffic/transportation engineering projects
- Manage and deliver on multiple projects and tasks within specific budgets and deadlines
- Coordinate and work with staff to determine data and to prepare/modify reports, specifications, plans, and designs for projects
- Participate in the pursuit of new clients, attend business development meetings with new and existing clients
- Provide management of junior staff for specific project assignments
- Participate in interviewing and hiring staff
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
- 5-15 years of experience
- PE licensed in Illinois
- Experience managing multiple clients and developing project budgets
- Experience in HCS, Synchro, Microstation
