Senior Traffic Engineer - Dubai
We are currently working closely with a leading engineering consultancy in Dubai dedicated to delivering innovative and sustainable solutions in the field of transportation and infrastructure. Due to recent project success, the team are expanding are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Traffic Engineer. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in traffic engineering, transportation planning, and project management. This role requires a proactive individual who can lead projects, provide technical guidance, and contribute to the development of cutting-edge traffic solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage traffic engineering projects from inception to completion.
- Conduct traffic impact studies, traffic modeling, and analysis.
- Develop and implement traffic management plans and strategies.
- Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure project success.
- Provide technical expertise and mentorship to junior engineers.
- Prepare and present reports, proposals, and technical documentation.
- Stay updated with industry trends, standards, and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Traffic Engineering, or a related field (Master's preferred).
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in traffic engineering and transportation planning.
- RTA licensed or equivalent certification.
- Proficiency in traffic modeling software (e.g., VISSIM)
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proven track record of successful project management and leadership.
