My client, a highly respected MEP consulting engineering firm headquartered in Baltimore, is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join their talented and collaborative team. With over five decades of excellence in the Mid-Atlantic region, this firm is known for delivering innovative, sustainable, and technically sound design solutions for a wide range of markets including education, healthcare, government, and cultural institutions.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Lead mechanical (HVAC) system design and documentation for new construction and renovation projects

  • Manage project coordination with internal teams and external stakeholders

  • Mentor and review work of junior engineers and designers

  • Perform load calculations, system sizing, and energy modeling

  • Conduct field surveys and site visits; support CA phase as needed

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar

  • 7+ years of MEP design experience

  • PE license preferred (or ability to obtain within 12 months)

  • Strong knowledge of building codes, HVAC systems, and energy efficiency strategies

  • Experience with Revit and engineering analysis software

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Salary: $100,000 - $150,000 based on experience
