Senior Electrical Engineer
Location: Tampa, Florida
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Engineer with over 10 years of experience in MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) to join our dynamic team in Tampa. While a Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred, it is not required for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage electrical engineering projects from concept to completion.
- Design, develop, and implement electrical systems and components.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success.
- Conduct technical analysis and provide innovative solutions.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering required.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in MEP engineering management and design of commercial buildings, preferably in sectors such as aviation, higher education, healthcare, hospitality, entertainment, or governmental facilities.
- Experience leading and coordinating multi-discipline engineering teams.
- Familiarity with various project delivery methods, including design-build, design-bid-construct, fast-track, and other construction delivery methods.
- Knowledge of local, state, and national codes, as well as other laws, regulations, and potential liabilities affecting the practice of engineering.
- Proficiency in Revit MEP and other engineering software programs.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Ability to prepare original specifications for project systems and components, as well as complete project manuals with sub-consultant specifications.
- Technical knowledge and hands-on experience to evaluate various electrical engineering options for equipment and components configuration.
- Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) preferred.
