The role involves leading the engineering efforts for a variety of complex water-related projects, including modern treatment facilities, conveyance systems, and sustainable solutions. The successful candidate will be in charge of overseeing project delivery, managing a diverse team, mentoring staff, driving business development, and managing financial aspects of projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct and oversee engineering projects across multiple delivery methods including design, execution, and budget management.
- Provide leadership to a multidisciplinary team to ensure the creation of detailed, high-quality engineering deliverables.
- Offer guidance on engineering standards, ensure compliance with quality programs, and support the improvement of these standards.
- Prepare complex engineering documents, manage data collection and analysis, and ensure project requirements are met.
- Supervise and mentor engineering personnel, aiding in their professional development.
- Contribute to new business development efforts and client relationship management.
- Oversee project logistics, such as scheduling, budgets, and client communications, with a portion of work conducted remotely.

Preferred and Minimum Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in engineering with a preference for additional credentials such as a PE license.
- At least 8 years of professional experience in engineering, with a significant portion in water/wastewater projects.
- Strong leadership skills and experience in managing multi-disciplinary engineering teams.
- Experience with business development and client management in a consultancy setting.
