Role Overview: Joining as a Transmission Planning Engineer, you'll contribute to the planning efforts for transmission systems, ensuring the efficient transmission of power. Your responsibilities will encompass analyzing data, designing transmission infrastructure, and ensuring reliability and performance.
Responsibilities:
- Participate in comprehensive analysis to plan and optimize transmission networks for efficient power transmission.
- Contribute to the design of transmission infrastructure, considering factors such as load growth, reliability, and operational efficiency.
- Utilize modeling and simulations to assess transmission system performance under various conditions.
- Assist in developing strategic plans for upgrades and expansions to meet future demand and enhance reliability.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to integrate renewable energy sources and new technologies into the transmission network.
- Provide technical support to address transmission system issues and challenges.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field.
