Responsibilities
The role involves planning, overseeing, and coordinating the activities of specific projects to ensure their goals and objectives are achieved within predetermined timeframes and financial constraints throughout the project's lifecycle. Advancement is primarily determined by the successful execution of essential duties and responsibilities, with discretionary advancement based on individual actions and achievements. This position indirectly supervises employees in relation to project tasks.
Key Duties
- Evaluate client-provided proposals or plans to establish project procedures, staffing needs, and resource allocation for all project phases (including estimation, scheduling, design, permitting, construction support, and closure).
- Assist in developing project proposals by defining work plans, assigning tasks, and determining staffing requirements for each project phase, considering factors like duration, hourly rates, budget, and schedule.
- Act as the main point of contact for project-related communication between the firm and the client, with support from senior staff.
- Review and finalize status reports, overseeing intermediate and internal design reviews to ensure documents meet the firm's standards for completeness, quality, and accuracy.
- Ensure adherence to the client's standards throughout project execution.
- Prepare project reports and schedules in response to management and client requests.
