We are currently helping an international renewable energy company grow their team across Australia and New Zealand. They are now looking for an experience Construction Manager for utility scale solar farms to be based on their project site, it's an exciting opportunity to join a growing team and become one of the pioneers!
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate with internal project engineering & procurement team, external subcontractors, and other stakeholders.
- Prepare construction management plan and manage on-site construction activities, ensuring fully compliance with quality, safety, and environmental standards.
- Review drawings and promptly address technical issues related to solar photovoltaic installation on site;
- Facilitate stakeholder engagement and manage industrial relations.
- Conduct regular inspections, manage defects, and oversee project close-out activities.
Qualifications & experience
- Bachelor degree in Engineering or above
- 3+ years' experience in the similar role in utility-scale solar or wind farm project.
- In-depth knowledge of solar farm construction procedures, PV systems, safety regulations, and contract management
- Solid experience in project reporting and documentation control..
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Project.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Understanding of relevant applicable standards and codes for solar farms in Australia or NZ.
- Willing to be travel and be located at project sites
