The Senior Project Manager role entails overseeing the design, construction, and commissioning of renewable projects across the United States. Responsibilities include managing various engineering, construction, and procurement contracts, collaborating with internal and external teams, and mentoring assigned staff.
While experience in utility-scale renewables is advantageous, managing large, complex construction projects is essential.
Based in Denver, CO, this position reports to the Head of Project Delivery, offering a hybrid work schedule combining office and remote days.

Responsibilities:
- Lead the Project Team, overseeing contractors, owner-engineers, on-site construction monitoring teams, and administrative staff.
- Manage multiple construction projects concurrently.
- Facilitate weekly meetings, including design reviews and coordination with local utilities and regulatory bodies.
- Generate weekly and monthly progress, safety, and quality reports.
- Supervise construction and procurement contracts, invoices, change orders,
- , and RFIs.
- Prepare cost forecast reports and assist with pre-construction activities.
- Support project scheduling and updates, as well as the implementation of inspection, testing, and commissioning plans.
- Oversee the interconnection process and project close-out.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of document control processes.
- Provide training and mentorship to on-site construction management teams.
- Foster a collaborative work environment within the project team.
- Fulfill other assigned duties as required.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
- At least 3 years of project management experience, preferably in large-scale renewable energy or complex construction projects.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office tools, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project.
- Thorough understanding of construction processes and sequencing.
- Hands-on experience with tools and equipment.
- Demonstrated leadership and problem-solving abilities.
- Adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
- Collaborative approach to work.
- Physical capability for regular site visits.
- PMP certification strongly preferred.
