Seeking a Remote Senior Project Manager for Heavy Civil Construction and Renewables Projects in Utah
Our client, an established heavy civil construction company specializing in renewable energy projects, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Solar Project Manager to oversee all aspects of project delivery.
Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Leading cross-functional teams throughout entire project life cycle
- Ensuring timely completion within budgetary constraints
- Developing detailed plans with clear objectives and time lines
- Communicating effectively with internal stakeholders as well as external partners including vendors or suppliers
- Monitoring progress against goals regularly and travel on-site when needed
Qualifications & Skills Required:
Project Management Expertise - The ideal candidate must possess exceptional LVI (Large Volume Infrastructure) experience coupled with proven track record managing complex multi-disciplinary construction/renovations/renewable-energy-related projects from inception through to finalization. A minimum 10 years' relevant work experience required.
Budgeting Experience - Demonstrated ability creating comprehensive budgets that consider multiple factors affecting cost allocations such labors hours/materials/equipment's etc.. Ability to forecast potential contingencies during different phases of the project at hand would be essential too.
Excellent Communication Abilities - This role requires constant communication between team members on site; therefore excellent interpersonal skills are paramount when it comes keeping everyone informed about any changes/variations/delays occurring onsite /offsite . Additionally you need strong written/oral presentation abilities since there may also be reporting requirements internally regarding Key Performance Indicators/KPIs , financial reports etc..
Leadership Qualities - As one who oversees several departments simultaneously while collaborating closely other senior management heads like HR/Administration Managers/Directors/Sales Representatives/Clients/Vendors/Subcontractors/etc., your success hinges upon being capable guiding motivating large diverse groups towards achieving specific end-goals collectively .
Bachelor's Degree Preferred- We prefer candidates having either Bachelor degree(s) Civil Engineering/Electrical/Mechanical engineering fields however equivalent industry related certifications/professional courses shall suffice if combined sufficient requisite field exposure.
