Job Title: Project Planner
Responsibilities:
- Act as a valuable support resource for project teams, aiding in planning and scheduling throughout the project's lifecycle.
- Lead the creation of detailed project schedules in collaboration with stakeholders, tailored to each project stage.
- Establish scheduling procedures, standards, and best practices, while driving the development and improvement of scheduling and reporting tools.
- Develop early phase schedules detailing initial activities and provide estimated construction schedules using relevant data.
- Engage in the ITT process by offering reference schedules, reviewing bidder submissions, and aligning them with project scheduling requirements.
- Ensure contractor schedules and progress measurements adhere to best practices through review and approval.
- Conduct trend analysis to identify risks and validate contractor forecasts, participating in progress review meetings.
- Propose project matrices, maintain reporting dashboards, and conduct risk analysis to inform decision-making.
Requirements:
- Minimum 4 years of construction project scheduling and planning experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field.
- Solid grasp of construction schedules, preferably with utility-scale solar project experience.
- Proficient in project management software, particularly Primavera P6/MS Projects, and familiarity with Procore, Primavera Risk Analysis, and Power BI.
- Strong technical understanding of solar energy systems, regulatory requirements, and permitting processes.
- Excellent attention to detail, analytical skills, and problem-solving abilities.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
- Professional certifications in project or schedule management are a plus.
- Effective collaboration with diverse stakeholders is essential.
