Our client is a leading provider of utility infrastructure solutions, specializing in the design, construction, and maintenance of electrical utility projects across the Northeast and Mid Atlantic region.
They are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Project Manager to join the team. The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of utility infrastructure projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with quality standards and regulatory requirements. Projects will include medium and high voltage transmission, distribution, and substation projects.
Responsibilities:
- Lead project planning, including scope definition, resource allocation, budgeting, and scheduling
- Manage project execution, monitoring progress, resolving issues, and mitigating risks to ensure project objectives are achieved
- Coordinate with internal teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to ensure effective communication and collaboration throughout the project life cycle
- Implement project management best practices, processes, and tools to optimize project delivery and efficiency
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or related field
- 5+ years experience in project management, preferably in the utility or construction industry
- PMP certification is a plus
- Ability to report to office and do monthly site visits
