Seeking a Skilled Project Manager for Industrial Construction in Chicago
Introduction:
Our client, one of the oldest General Contractors (GC) in Chicago is looking to hire an experienced and highly skilled project manager. With warehouse and distribution projects already underway, this role offers exciting opportunities for growth within the company to reach senior leadership positions.
Job Description:
As our new Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing industrial construction projects from start to finish. Your duties will include but are not limited to:
- Collaborating with architects/engineers/clients/vendors/subcontractors
- Developing project schedules/timelines/budgets
- Ensuring compliance with building codes/regulations/safety procedures
- Managing quality control processes
Qualifications & Skills Required :
To qualify as a successful candidate should have experience working on light industrial work sites.
Qualifications :
-Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education/training/experience.
-Must possess current certification/licenses required by local/state/federal agencies regarding zoning/building regulations etc., if applicable.
Skills :
-Adept at managing multiple priorities under tight deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.
-Outstanding communication/negotiation/presentation skills necessary when interacting effectively across all levels both internally and externally.
-Proven track record demonstrating strong leadership abilities; ability able delegate responsibilities efficiently amongst team members whilst handling conflicts diplomatically.
