My client is seeking a senior water/wastewater engineer and project manager to join their dynamic engineering consulting team. This group delivers comprehensive solutions for public works and private clients, covering all project phases: planning, engineering evaluation and design, permitting, construction-phase services, and program and operations support.
Responsibilities:
The senior water/wastewater engineer and project manager will collaborate with clients and team members to:
- Develop plans to achieve program and project objectives.
- Manage and execute engineering design tasks.
- Conduct engineering calculations and evaluations.
- Prepare detailed reports.
- Perform alternatives analyses.
- Develop engineering plans and specifications.
- Provide guidance on projects during construction.
This role will be customized to match the candidate's experience and interests, ideal for someone eager to develop a broad range of managerial and technical skills. Remote work is possible for the right candidate.
Qualifications:
- Professional Engineer (P.E.) or Engineer-in-Training working towards a P.E.
- B.S. or M.S. in civil or environmental engineering or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in water/wastewater design, treatment, and/or permitting.
- Experience in project management and/or client management.
- Preferred: Construction management experience.
