As a Forensic Engineer at this firm, you will be working closely and performing first response property loss investigations for clients in the insurance sector. Working to determine cause and origin or structural failures in both residential and commercial sites. You will also be providing investigations and damage assessments for catastrophes such as storm damage, hurricanes and floods.
Responsibilities:
- Provide residential and commercial site investigations to determine cause and origin of structural failure.
- Investigate and assess damages due to catastrophes such as storm damage, hurricanes, and floods.
- Provide signed and sealed detailed reports outlining cause and origin of damage to clients.
- Research technical publications and literature in support of evaluations.
- Communicate directly with clients regarding project status.
Experience:
- Minimum 5 Years relevant experience
- Ability to work independently and as a team
- Customer service
- Strong analytic and field inspection skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Education & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in civil or structural Engineering. (or relevant engineering degree)
- Masters (preferred)
- PE License in Georgia (multiple states preferred)
- IIBEC Credentials (preferred)
