As the Forensic Engineering Manager, you will oversee a growing multidisciplinary team of forensic engineering experts and act as a mentor and project coordinator for all projects. Responsibilities
- Lead a multi-disciplinary team to analyse structural or building envelope failures and work on repairing/restoring any defects.
- Act as a mentor for all junior staff and leader on all relevant projects within the group.
- Conduct forensic investigations into structural failures, including fire, flood, and impact damage and construction defect.
- Prepare detailed reports on findings and provide expert testimony in legal proceedings.
- Coordinate and delegate accordingly on projects.
- Undertake site visits and inspections to identify potential issues and hazards.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Structural or Civil Engineering
- 6+ years of relevant experience with proven growth
- Professional Engineer in North Carolina
- Experience conducting root cause investigations for structural components or building enclosure systems.
- Experience with ground up construction or structural design.
