My client seeks a highly motivated and talented Area Leader to lead our growing Southeast Area team. The Southeast Area team focuses on natural resources and environmental planning, land management, water resources, wetland delineation and assessment, and permitting, which includes listed species permitting and avian protection planning, environmental assessment, and remediation for clients in industrial, power, water, and government end markets.
Responsibilities

- Accountable for key performance indicators for the Area which include attAreaon, sales, revenues, productivity, margin, and day sales outstanding.
- Leads by example on commitment to our people, clients, and sustainability with attention to health safety and quality.
- Develops and delivers Business Plan and yearly budget in alignment with the company's goals and growth objectives tailored to suit the Southeast market from a business development and talent perspective, leading with confidence to make appropriate business decisions to position the Southeast for short and long-term success.
- Monitors overall project portfolio in coordination with the Area Project Delivery Leader, ensuring successful delivery of projects to achieve margin goals and client satisfaction in alignment with contractual terms.
- Evaluates operational results and develops plans to address risks and maximize opportunities for the Area, communication anAreaordinating regularly with the COO, and other business leaders as needed.

Qualifications
- Minimum four-year (accredited) college degree in Environmental Science, Geology, Engineering, or other related technical discipline.
- Demonstrated experience leading large successful business unites in Environmental and/or Engineering consulting.
- Excellent people skills.
- Demonstrated operational experience and managing a P&L.
- Demonstrated success in project and client management.
- Marketing/business development capabilities.
- Proven ability to build strong partnerships and relationships internally & externally.
- The ability to adapt and lead through change maintaining a high level of attention to detail and integrity.
