Area Sales Manager - Central US
Salary: 130000- 140000
Company Summary: A global chemical group leader, with proven standing in performance additives and solutions for several different service lines including but not limited to advanced water solutions, industrial water treatment, oil and gas, and personal care. Generating 1 million USD globally in sales, we are looking for a hunter to head up the central region of the US.
The Sales Manager will be responsible for:
- Develop a comprehensive business strategy in collaboration with the Director of Sales
- Direct sales and Business development in the specialty chemical market, with an emphasis on industrial water and process treatment verticals.
- True problem solving and solutions selling.
- Communication and support of sales and marketing administration
- Support and maintain positive relationships with current clients.
The Sales Manager should have the following qualifications:
- 5-10 years of direct sales experience.
- A university degree in an engineering or relevant scientific discipline is required, chemical engineering is preferred but other scientific disciplines are acceptable.
- Experience in Water/process treatment and familiarity with specialty chemical products
- Ability to travel at least 50%
