Introduction:
We are seeking an ambitious, results-driven individual to join our business development team in North Haven, CT. Our client is a leading organization that specializes in developing solar projects for commercial and public sector clients across the USA.
Responsibilities:
Building relationships with potential customers
Conducting market research analysis
Assisting with proposal preparation
Attend virtual and in-person consultation appointments with prospective customers.
Gather and consolidate customer and facility information required by internal engineering and finance teams to build and price solutions.
Collaborate with internal finance, engineering, construction, and legal teams to develop client proposals, responses to requests for proposals, and client-facing financial analysis.
Qualifications & Skills Required:
2 years of Business Development experience- Previous hands-on working knowledge as either sales manager/business development executive/associate would provide you valuable insight into your role requirements.
Connecticut Resident / Able to travel to CT frequently
Renewables Industry Knowledge - Understanding how various sectors interact in Renewable Energy Sector can give insights about project financing options available via subsidies/grants/tax incentives/hybrid power purchase agreements/etc. which could aid better decision making when assessing prospective sites based on their feasibility studies
